Doping scandals, Yaya Toure Blame Club
Manchester City defender, Kolo Toure, who were undergoing punishment for the use of doping, blaming the club for the punishment he received.
Toure newly freed from sanctions in September, after failing the drug test on 11 February, the day before the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
But the FA's investigation team issued a full report on how the players from Ivory Coast met Jamie Butler's club doctor at the team hotel the night before the FA Cup match at Notts County on 30 January.
"Memory Toure is that he gave the bag to the club doctor in the hotel restaurant that night and asked him, 'Do I deserve to be consumed supplements, doctors say fine,"the FA statement.
The report also went on, Toure said that Dr. Butler view the contents of the bag, picked up a few supplements and told him that something in the bag was fine. "That's not the memory of Dr. Butler."
However, tracer team concluded that Butler was not to blame. Because after the clarification Dr. Butler said that such supplements are taken Toure is prohibited and should not be used.
In his defense to the FA Toure claimed that the supplement was to fight a weight problem she had struggled for many years.
