UC Sampdoria Sampdoria or commonly called the name of the Italian football team based in Genova, Italy. The club was founded in 1946. The club is headquartered at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Sampdoria is one of the youngest clubs in Italy. Sampdoria came from the merger of two clubs namely Sampierdarenese and Andrea Doria in 1946. Squad Sampdoria Genoa share space with the club in 1893 by Luigi Ferraris stadium.
