The Blackpool/The Seasiders
Blackpool Football Club is an English football club, founded in 1887 in Lancashire. They competed in the Premier League in season 2010-2011. It became their first debut in the Premier League and become their first appearance in English football's top level since 1971.

They held the first club in English football history who had to get a promotion through the four divisions that exist through the playoffs.

Their base since 1901, is Bloomfield Road. Their main nickname is the Seasiders. Their motto is 'Progress', which is displayed on the club logo. The main opponent is Preston North End, where they are often called the meeting of the West Lancashire derby.

Blackpool's best achievement was winning the FA Cup in 1953, when they beat Bolton Wanderers 4-3, after being left in the position 1-3. They also contributed much to the England national team players, especially in the year 1953.

Their most successful period does not occur in the 1982-1983 season when they are in a position to 21 in the lowest division in the English Premier League football.
