The teams from Serie B will start the competition with a number of Serie A teams that are rated below 8 in the standings at the previous season. Meanwhile, teams of Serie A with a position on the previous season are on the 8th to the above will be waiting in round perdelapan finals to face teams from the preliminary round. Italian Cup began in 1922. Italian Cup is one of the most prestigious competitions in Italy, due to bring together teams from all over Italy.
The system used in the Italian Cup competition is to use knockout. Usually, this event was initiated in July or August for the qualifying round teams from lower divisions and end with the final which is usually held in May next year.

Competition Format
